Born in South Korea, Seeun Oh began playing the piano at five years old. Admitted to the prestigious Yonsei University in Seoul, she studied piano and organ under the direction of professor Myung Ja Cho.

She then furthered her organ studies in Germany where she obtained a Master's degree at the Munich Musikhochschule and a soloist's diploma at the Hanover Musikhochschule.

Laureate of several international organ competitions, Seeun Oh has been studying since 2014 in Erwan Le Prado's advanced postgraduate class at the Caen Conservatory in France.

Born in the Champagne Region, she was a student at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse in Paris where she was awarded prizes in the organ, improvisation, harmony, counterpoint and fugue classes. She also obtained a Ph. D. from Paris-IV Sorbonne University. She is currently senior lecturer at the department "Arts-Musique" of the Evry University and undertakes research on interpretation, gesture and symbolism in music. She has always been engaged in associative activities in the pipe organ field and is currently a member of AMORCE association in Évreux. Interested in instrumentmaking practices and in the preservation of instruments of the past, she has been on the board of the National Commission for Historical Monuments for 15 years. She leads a career of performer as well as improviser. She is especially interested in the relationship between the arts. Hence, she took part in luminographic concerts, organ and movie, organ and tales, organ and video concerts… She also created multi-field art projects (music, dance, and video). She has recorded several CDs, one of which on the Évreux cathedral organ that was released not long after the inauguration of the instrument. Her last two-CD set, issued in 2014, was recorded on the Cavaillé-Coll organ of Notre-Dame in Épernay and includes works by Franck, Liszt and Saint-Saëns played before and after the restoration of the instrument.
